In six years the company has grown to a staff complement of more than 30 people and has secured numerous contracts in the public and private sector. Maxxor is a previous national winner in the SAB Kickstart entrepreneurial development competition. The company has also been nominated as one of South Africa's Top Emerging Empowerment Companies in the Software sector by Impumelelo, and nominated for the Department of Science and Technologies' TT100 (Technology Top 100) awards in 2009.
