Microsoft Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment
On March 31st, 2011 Microsoft South Africa announced that Maxxor had been selected as one of four companies chosen to partner with Microsoft in its broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) equity equivalence programme. We are pleased and excited that our selection from the 700 companies that were reviewed is a reflection of the technical expertise, business acumen and growth potential that Microsoft see resident in our business and people. The Microsoft programme aims to create jobs, develop new enterprises, build the local software economy and develop scarce technology skills.
