We are recruiting an Account Manager to identify sales opportunities and
generate new deals. The remuneration is negotiable depending on
experience and track record. The position is based at our
offices in Century City, Cape Town.
Job description
- Identify new business opportunities and generate new sales in respect of software development, web design and online marketing services
- Draft proposals and prepare sales presentations
- Responsible for achieving agreed revenue targets
- Build business relationships with decision makers
- Responsible for ongoing customer relationship management for new accounts
- The remuneration consists of a basic salary plus commission
Job requirements
- Successful track record in selling technical solutions or online solutions (min of 5 years sales experience)
- Have an extensive network of contacts in place already
- Excellent customer liaison skills and ability to communicate at all levels (both verbal and written)
- Proposal writing and presentation skills
- Extremely computer-literate and Internet-savvy
- A good understanding of broad business processes and principles
- Dynamic self-starter: highly motivated / enthusiastic / energetic
- Degree would be advantageous but experience and a track record is what we are looking for
- Own transport with valid driver's license is essential
